  10.        I am commercial photographer by training and a computer hobbyist 
  11.        by preference. An odd combination of skills, but technology has 
  12.        always been a fascination. I live about 3 miles from Seattle, 
  13.        Washington on Mercer Island, a city of about 24,000 people in 
  14.        the middle of Lake Washington. 
  15.  
  16.        As former coordinator for the Mercer Island Computer Club, I 
  17.        divide my time between computer related hobby activities and the 
  18.        operation of Seattle Scientific Photography which produces 35mm 
  19.        lecture/presentation slides for a variety of commercial clients.

  21.        This disk, Back Relief Now, evolved as a project to learn about 
  22.        the source of my own back pain which is probably a consequence 
  23.        of long hours spent at a computer keyboard. The project also 
  24.        evolved from a feeling that common sense, a little medical 
  25.        research and exercise were probably the best course to follow. 
  26.        What unfolded was a surprising amount of information which could 
  27.        be shared with others who also suffer from backaches. The result 
  28.        is this software program which is written from a layman's point 
  29.        of view for the average layman to read.

  31.        I attended the University of Sophia in Tokyo, Japan and Seattle 
  32.        University in Seattle. I have taught classes at the University 
  33.        of Washington Experimental College.

  35.        Following are descriptions of other shareware packages I have 
  36.        published. Most are available from popular shareware sources 
  37.        such as computer clubs and shareware disk vendors, or you may

  42.        computer clubs and has been featured in two national computer 
  43.        magazines. PC-Learn is a computer training system for beginners 
  44.        which includes chapters on buying and using a computer, an

  46.        drives, tech tips how to use shareware tutorial and virus 
  47.        protection. It also includes information on word processing, a 
  48.        suggested reading list, software selection, mailing list of 
  49.        computer clubs, batch files, spreadsheets, databases, and even a 
  50.        glossary! PC-LEARN features high speed color or monochrome 
  51.        menus, tutorial printing, information searching capabilities and 
  52.        more.

  74.        questions, a short DOS review course, shortcuts, using filenames 
  75.        and extensions, locating documentation on disk. Even includes a 
  76.        short pop quiz to test your "shareware survival skills!" Chapter

  98.        vendors, agents and authors can use the detailed mailing list to 
  99.        mail software in an effective, highly successful manner. Also

  102.        creative tips, tricks and traps every author and disk vendor
